MELEYNASTUDIOS was founded in 2021 by Melissa Horchemer.

Through ceramics and sculptural work, I explore the relationship between nature and futuristic design. Growing up between Cuba and Duisburg, between landscapes shaped by nature and those defined by industry. Both environments have influenced my aesthetic and social perception. It was this contrast that sparked my fascination with bringing these worlds together.

In 2019, I began studying biology and discovered clay as a material and artistic medium alongside scientific research. This interdisciplinary background continues to influence the way I approach texture, light and movement.

My work centres on creating pieces that embody organic softness, while also expressing depth and strength. Each piece is handmade and unique.
